You have a film that you recently completed or almost completed? Are you looking for help and support to navigate the festival circuit as well as other means of dissemination? Are you looking to join a community of adventurous filmmaking enthusiasts?
Video Power is looking for new projects to support with distribution. From June 1st to June 30th 2023, we invite you to send us your films.

What we are looking for:

Short films (ideally under 30 minutes)
Films that are finished or in the very last stages of post production. Films finished in 2022 or 2023 are admissible.
We are looking for films that have not yet debuted on the festival circuit and don’t have a clear festival strategy or distribution plan yet.
The genre is not a criteria. Independent Documentaries, Animation, Experimental/Video Art and non-narrative Fiction are welcome.
The level of experience is irrelevant. We are looking to support fledgeling filmmakers as well as more established names.
Student films are welcome.
Dutch as well as International submissions are welcome. Where the film was made is not a criteria.
We are looking to help filmmakers that don’t have a large structure behind them and work in an independent manner. Therefore, films with a large production budget will not be considered.
We are looking for filmmakers with open hearts and open minds that are interested in a collaborative experience and transparent communication.

What we are not looking for:

Mid-length or Feature.
Films in pre-production, production or very early stages of production. Please check out our pitches opportunities if that applies to your project.
Commercial films.
Narrative fiction, traditional documentary or animation.
